I chose this Management Programme to help me fulfill my ambition to get a good job one day. Having graduated with the commerce degree I knew that I needed to complement my commerce background and enhance my managerial skills with an understanding of all the business functions and how they inter-relate.

I chose this Institute because it gives one a great exposure to business situations and offers entrepreneurial environment that challenges individuals to attempt new and different things. This Programme provides the students with the opportunity to apply knowledge acquired during the programme to real world. It taught me how to deal with all the macro and micro issues that come up in the work environment. I developed valuable skills and techniques from courses such as organizational behviour, personal development, human resource management and marketing. Some of the work is done in groups, which improved my team-working skills too.

I am doing my Marketing specialization from this Institute. Although I had greatly enjoyed my first degree I did not want to pursue a career in the field of Commerce. Instead I was interested in a career combining commerce and management. The management programme with marketing was the ideal course for me to increase my knowledge and skills in both these areas and also to further my job prospects. The course itself is very interesting and varied, combining lectures, projects and individual and teamwork. The experience has been very challenging, the learning extremely deep, but I have enjoyed the environment and have found the knowledge the institute is giving me very useful.

Having graduated in Commerce I choose to do this Programme for two main reasons. Firstly I wanted to develop a greater commercial awareness and get to grips with some of the most upto date business theories. Secondly I wanted to be able to make a more informed career choice i.e. I did not want to go into a career without a good idea of what it would really entail. The Programme is broad based and well structured and carefully thought out. It also covers many different areas and topics which I found very interesting, and also enabled me to discover which areas I am most stimulated by and in which I would like to work in the long term. I also feel that I have greatly profited from the invaluable teamwork and project based assignments, which are excellent preparation for the kind of challenges faced in the work place.
